ABOUT US

We are coming off our most successful season for our teams since the inception of GV Youth football in 1990 with championship wins by our 5th and 6th grade teams!   We are proud of our players and coaches for their accomplishments and would like to build off that for the 2025 campaign! 

The GVYFO tackle & cheer football program helps teach and instill what it means to be a leader, empowering your child with ways to take initiative and show responsibility for their actions on and off the field. 

Our tenants are teamwork, discipline, commitment, toughness and fun. The game of football has never been safer with many improvements in helmet & equipment technology including the new Guardian helmet cover. Our coaches are trained and certified in USA Heads Up Tackling & Blocking techniques. 

Registration will be opening soon for K & 1st flag,  2nd through 6th tackle football and K-6th cheerleading. Our teams play in the Inter County Football League (ICFL) against teams from Boyertown, Coventry, Norristown, North Penn, Perk Valley, Phoenixville, Pottsgrove, Pottstown, Springford, & Upper Perk. 

Our home games are played on the Great Valley High School turf field. Our season runs from early August to mid-November.  Teams practice 4 times a week prior to the start of school and 2-3 times a week during the season.
